Taking a lead from companies like Apple, Sky Golf are giving a tantilizing preview of a device that is not going to be available until May 2010.
Reading the forums at GolfWrx there are questions about price, with it expected to be around $399. An interesting rumour is that the Skycaddie SGX will be able to tell you how far you hit each club with the addition of strips to your club.
It is becoming an increasingly competitive market for golf gps rangefinders with apps for the iPhone 3GS getting better and lower in cost. We shall see if Nothing Else Comes Close and the Sky caddie SGX can keep Sky Golf at the head of the class.
This article should help me, but just want to say thanks for the great tips on the site
I think this product has great promise. The smart club feature is really cool and should help amateurs really get to know their yardages with each club. Looking forward to seeing how Sky Golf handles memberships since the unit comes with 30,000 courses pre-loaded.
