Play GPS Golf in New York or London maybe?

0

There is an article in the New York Times about a GPS Golf game being developed by Gigantic Mechanic a New York based gaming company.

In the game you use your smartphone to swing your clubs and combined with the GPS functionality of the phone your distances are calculated.

I can imagine the looks you would get trying to make your way around a busy street in London while doing your best Tiger Woods swing.

If they made a version where all the holes are pubs then it could make for a fun evening for the lads from your golf club. As the evening wears on I would imagine it taking an age to hole-out!

I think I’ll stick to using my Skycaddie SG5 to get me to the 19th hole for now!
